Hey....well i am very happy and very excited right now. So...your curious why.....well i got my wonderful christmas present tonight!! A wonderful horse called Orlando!! 8D


He arrived today on the truck and my parents hadn't told me about him due to make him a surprise for me. Well he arrived today and decided to surprise me with him!

we had actually been looking at him to buy, but i was told he was sold, was quite upset. I had caught on though that mum and dad were getting me something like a horse, but didn't snoop or try to find out cause i wanted to leave it a surprise. So...they decided they would give him to me today rather than on christmas day. Reason being it would be too much trouble trying to get a trailer to bring him to the house as well as we wouldn't want him to spook, especially after hearing a rather horrible story about a horse that was taken to the house for a surprise, it spooked and had an accident and unfortunately...didn't make it.

Even if it's early, he is wonderful and i love him and was very surprised! Was in the middle of my riding lesson when my instructor told us to halt...soon enough Jenny (school owner etc) came out with him along with a giant red bow around his neck! cause i'm not the person to scream i didn't...but instead cried XD

So i would like you all to meet my new baby boy Orlando by looking at the images i shall put up in my gallery!! I love him to bits. I'm going to be working with him the next few days walking him around the place to get used to his surroundings before i can ride him, as well as my instructor working with me to teach me everything i need to know.

Eee i wuvs him. My best friend down south whose mother was selling him for a client, they pitched in by paying $1000 towards him too, my best friend pitched in $250 and her mum $750. So i am very very very grateful and i wuv him!!! and....He's ALL MINE! 8D[/c]

So..i'ts been a while since my last journal entry.

So...as in my last entry i mentioned about Olly? well his price came down, but i have to admit, he did scare me a few times...i think the excitement of possibly getting a horse overwhelmed me and i thought it could be something to get over if i was to get him. But when i think about it, i don't quite think he was the one for me. His price came down from $10000 (for us) to $6000. But we declined.

So..the family friend who was selling him mentioned a mare that she was selling for a client.Called Issis, a 16.2hh, 10yo, warmblood cross mare thats absolutely gorgeous. Was competing at elementary level of dressage (but owner is ill so needed to sell her), she's bombproof, an absotlue angel. She was going for $12,000 but was lowered to $8,000 for us. But unfortunately she was Sold before we could get everything organised.

So, our family friend rang us to let us know, but she also mentioned a gorgeous seal bay gelding to us called Orlando. He stands at 16hh, is only 6 years and going for $6,000. He is being sold by our family friend for the same client who was selling issis. He isn't going up for sale to the public for another 4 weeks, so it gives my parents time to think and organise. But i have to say he is absolutely gorgeous! So hopefully i can get him. Our family friend only sells a horse to someone if the personality suits the person as well as the experience. We have known them for over 7 years, she was the first one to teach me how to actually ride (she is a dutch qualified/certified horse trainer & riding instructor, she has worked with horses abotu 30-40 or more years)she knows my personality very well and she knows my level of riding and says he would suit me very well, in personality, experience and everything else.

Hmm...been a while since i did another Journal teehee

Anyways...hows about a little catchign up

So...in the holidays i did manage to go down to my friends (of course) for the week, it was great fun, i still gotta upload some of the pictures to my DA gallery. It was great fun, did a lesson everyday with my friends mum, i can tell ya one thing, i think i plan on going to private lessons now, cause i need to work on my posture XD lol!! But i have to say, my friends mum took pictures of me and said i had my left shoulder raised all the time and it looked painful, so she took me to the chiropractor and can i just say...my shoulder was very badly messed up, the guy cracked my back and neck, rolled a huge knot i swear over 50 times to get it to pop and so much more, i was literally in tears...i don't cry for pain. It felt so good afterwards, but it wasn't the whole thing, i still gotta get the front done. And then after going through all that....when we got back to the house we went riding....and....i fell of Olly T_T


Now...wondering who Olly is? well...in my past journal i suggested about the horse Allstar...well Allstar was sold by the time I got down there, but Olly is actually his brother XD i swear, they are twins....they both have practically the same white snip and star, the only thing is, is they are different ages XP anyways...well I rode olly for the week, he's actually the horse that i can hopefully get, only thing is, is trying to convince my parents to pay for him...:/ he's originally worth $18,000 but my friends mum is selling him for $12,000 and she can only get it as low as $10,000 to sell him to us (she is part of a business thing with selling horses, too hard to explain)
so...it's taking me some real working to convince my parents, my dad is edging closer..but my mum i'm not sure. They promised me a horse at the end of thw year if i get my grades up which i have, big time and my mum says that when she makes a promise, she keeps by them, so if Olly isn't sold, he may just be mine!! Yay!

And....His brand is a love heart!!!


Anyways...i think i got that part covered...umm..now to...most recently

Well, i finally found my code for my photoshop again, as i have a new computer i put my photoshop on, but i couldn't find the code and tehrefore had to use up the trial, but once the trial was finished i had no photoshop, but i just managed to find my code in my emails the other day and it's working again!! Yay!! so you may just see some more art


I think i have covered it all....Yay!!!

Hey, well i'm sorry for not coming online very much recently, been busy with some other things....but i'm here now lol!!! Currently i've only got 4 more days left of school and then 2 weeks of holidays!! Yay!!!

In case ya havn't heard, i'm going to be going down south to visit my best friend, the one we are getting my hopefully soon-to-be horse. Although now there are two horses that could be possibly mine that i'm looking at. Either Icon, the 3 year old gelding who isn't so much recommended or Allstar who is an 8 year old gelding who has experience in jumping and dressage (which i need) as Icon doesn't have the experience i need it would mean i have to train Icon which i wouldn't have time for. As much as i would love the experience to train him, i unfortunately wouldn't have enough time everyday to work with him. But...hopefully it'll all turn out ok. But i just can't wait...i'l be spending time with my best friend and also will be going on trail rides, riding on the beach etc!! It's gonna be awesome!! I'll try and get pictures!!


Umm..and also...guess what??!! I'm reading a book!!! 0.0 omg!! lol XD Although i wasn't meant to see it yet until christmas. My dad was cleaning out some draws and left it out, i found it and asked my mum what it was for and apparently it was a surprise for me for christmas. Good hiding mum!! My dad didn't even realise. So as i know about it now and i'm curious i am now reading it.
It's Called 'The Horse in Australia' and is written by Fiona Carruthers. I have to say, i don't read much, but as it has to do with horses, i'm actially loving it. It's quite interesting, looking at the history of when the horses arrived in Australia in the 1700's, the breeding and racing that went on, the sports etc. Its great!!

wait...also...there may not be some of my digital art for a while as i have lost the verification code for my photoshop as i have a new computer and we had to install it. So The 30 day trial is almost up...i'll try and find the verification code also...my tablet is being a little brat XD it is faulty in areas and frustrating to draw with as it jolts off in certain areas, so thats also the other reason. So once i get a new tablet and get photoshop working with my code i'll have mor epieces up and finished ASAP.

Hey!! well some of you know that i went to see the Pink concert down in Brisbane last night (flew down there), well i have to say it was awesome!! Although i ended up with aching feet and numb ears XD it was spectacular (X3) and the funny thing is, is i never thought she would be that...umm...dainty? i mean she was a bit smaller than what i expected, like height wise etc, really hard to explain XD But she was hilarious...she just started to chat away at the audience at one part and forgot about what she was meant to be doing XP

And also..some other great news!! I have a best friend that lives down there and her mother is a qualified dutch horse trainer/instructor etc, she buys horses for say $2000, spends time training them, using natural herbs etc to help with their health and fitness and sells them for over $10 000 for dressage prospects etc. Anyways...we went to visit them, i had seen my friend at new years when she flew up but other than that we havn't seen the whole family in 6 years...so it was great to see them...but...the best is to come!!

They have a 3 year old gelding thoroughbred who is called 'Icon' who i absolutely fell in love with!! And i might be getting him!! Our friend says she'll give us him for a good price and she'll be able to keep him down there until we can find a place to board him or atleast find an acreage...but i'm still quite exctied! I'm going down to stay with them on my next school holidays where i'll be spending time with my friend, riding etc...getting to ride Icon so i can see what he's like, get used to him etc! But theres a very very high chance of me getting him!! I is soooo excited!
'Unfortunately my phone was dead and i couldn't get a pic of him, so i'm asking my friend if she can send one to me.. But i can't believe it! I finally might be getting a horse! All we have to do is find a place to keep him here XD

Description: He is a lovely dark bay with a star and a side on triangle half way down his face (hard to explain), he has grey/blackish muzzle along with dark legs etc and....His mane is CURLY!! almost like someone has crimped his hair XD and he is quite big, but he is apparently a gentle giant and a complete gentlemen! They said he is great with flatwork, so dressage etc and also pretty good with jumping.

Curious why his name is Icon?
Well he is an ex-racehorse...but not at that extent that he is of any problem to handle and well here in australia we have the different icons like the Big bannana, the big pinapple etc and cause he is so big..welll he's an Icon. lol!

Also to those who say that ex-racehorses are usually a handful, luckily Icon didn't do much and he has been worked with by our friend, he is a complete and utter gentleman!! A giant giant! Adrianna (my friends mother/my mothers friend/the qualified trainer etc XD) said he matches me well with personality XP So in the holidays i'll be riding him, getting to know him etc, be in the different situations to make sure he is the one i want and the one i will be able to handle.


Eeee so exctied...unfortunately the holidays are still 3 weeks away..but i may try and convince my mum to go earlier lol!!!
